One of Ullswater's best kept affordable secrets (6 miles) We love this place - it's quirky and hardly anyone knows about it! You won't find it on the 'Go Lakes' Cumbria Tourism websites because it's refreshingly old fashioned and likes to be different. Well worth a look! A unique Queene Anne bed and breakfast property with amazingly affordable accommodation, a self catering kitchen for families to use, roll top baths and four poster beds . It's a step back in time and worth a visit and amazingly good value- massive bedrooms that can take whole families Set in 3.5 acres of ground, this eight bedroom Queen Anne home, built in 1710, is located in the Lake District National Park just a few hundred yards from the Lakeside |
